What is a Braindate?

At IFLA WLIC 2023, you’ll be meeting great people and learning about new things. How do you connect and start those meaningful conversations?

It all starts with a Braindate!

Encouraging learning and deepening relationships among members are pillars of what makes IFLA so special. This year, we are thrilled to partner with peer-learning experts from Braindate to bring you a new way to meet, learn and discuss ideas that matter most to you. Sign up in advance for one-on-one or small group conversations based on topics you select. Brainstorm ideas, share best practices, and connect with others who are passionate about the same things you are. It’s a great way to build your network and your knowledge with purpose and ease.

Here’s what to do: 

1. Log in to the Braindate Platform and set up your account.
2. Post a topic of interest that you would like to discuss with other attendees!
3. Once IFLA WLIC 2023 starts, you’ll connect with your braindates virtually through video chat, directly on the Braindate platform or on-site at the Rotterdam Ahoy Congress Centre in the Braindate Lounge, on the first floor of the Ahoy. Our Learning Concierges will be available to assist you via chat or in person in the Lounge!
