Join us for a fantastic event at Rotterdam Central Station!

#WLIC2023 participants, Dutch librarians, and library allies are invited to Rotterdam Central Station on Monday, 21 August at 18:15 for a special event celebrating the importance of reading to children.

Librarian Flashmob event details:

• Date: Monday 21 August
• Time: 18:15 (Arrival), 18:30 (Performance)
• Location: Rotterdam Central Station
• Bring: A children’s book in your own language

👉 At 18:30, participants will embark on an enchanting journey, each reading their chosen book aloud for 5 mintues. The organisers will capture this moment through photos and videos. After the reading, everyone is free to continue with their regular activities, filled with the joy of literary celebration!

This event is organized by Rotterdam Public Libraries and our one-and-only IFLA New Professionals SIG, in collaboration with Rotterdam Central Station.
