Ready to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of Dutch Libraries? Watch the video above for some inspiring stories and creative innovations straight from the heart of the Dutch library network!

The content for this informative online event comes from a dynamic network of Dutch library organisations and the National Library of the Netherlands. It provides the perfect opportunity to get us ready for IFLA WLIC 2023 in Rotterdam.

This event focused on sharing best practices, bringing on the important themes of today and tomorrow, and enhancing local approaches in order to best deal with current challenges. There are messages from IFLA President Barbara Lison and Theo Kemperman, chair of the National Committee of the WLIC 2023, and also guest speakers from Academic and Public Libraries, a great spoken word artist, as well as information on Special Libraries that are a part of WLIC 2023’s Library Tours and Satellite meetings.

The event was recorded at HAL4 on the Maas in Rotterdam, The Netherlands on 17 April. This event was made possible thanks to the Pica foundation, the National Library of the Netherlands, the Association of Public Libraries of the Netherlands, Fobid, the National Committee WLIC 2023 and a group of wonderful library lovers.
